About Gui Süssekind Bailey

He studied cinematography and directing at the Darcy Ribeiro School, at the New York University - NYU and attending workshops at Maine Media with cinematographers as: Russell Carpenter ASC, ASC Rodney Taylor, Stephen McCarthy among others.

In the last 18 years he has had the opportunity to work in national and international markets filming documentaries, commercials and TV series.

Since 2011 he has been developing a photographic essay on Tibetan exiles in India and Nepal that addresses questions about the impermanence and co-emergency.

In 2015 he received the Silver Dolphin Award at Cannes Film Festival.
